Base
a group of government, non-profits, faith based
organizations, and concerned citizens use the 4People Case Management System to
reduce homelessness and coordinate services to at-risk families and
children in Benton and Franklin Counties, Washington State. As of 12/31/06 over
980 homeless or potentially homeless have been served.

 Kids
Connect a group of 8 health care clinics and organizations
use the Case Management system to connect kids to health care in Yakima
County, Washington State. As of 12/06 over 2100 children have been
served.

Justice Centers
are exploring using 4People Case Management system to connect
inmates with community resources prior to being released.

Faith Based organizations are using 4People Case Management to share
resources with at risk families.

Export
Wizard Reports Tool
Participants
will learn how to run reports on data recorded in the Client Registry
using the Export Wizard. The Export
Wizard tool is used to pull reports on data collected in clients’
records which can then be downloaded and opened with a spreadsheet
program for analyzes. During the demonstration you will learn how this
tool functions, the steps to making a report, and the options and
features of the tool. This training is limited to those you have responsibility for monitoring
and supervising programs.
Audience:
This training is only
intended for those agency personnel assigned the responsibility to
collect information on community resources used by the agency’s staff.
Agency staff members responsible for enter agency and service profiles
to be reference by case managers.
You must obtain approval from your 4People Point of Contact (the
staff member at your agency who acts as a liaison between your agency
and 4People).
Prerequisites:

Client
Registry
& On Line Support Assistant (OLSA)
training.
- Completed
Comprehensive Case Management/CCM and HMIS training.
- Completed Resources and Referral Database
training.

- Understand the type of data available for reports using the Export
Wizard.
- Understand how to access the Export Wizard and the steps to creating
a report and downloading it to your computer.
- Understand the type of information available in the client records
available for reporting and how it will be presented in a report.
Skills:
- Navigate 4People system to access Export Wizard and the steps to
creating, editing, and running reports.
- Identify available information which can be included in a report.
- Use fields and logic statements to select data needed for reporting.
- Format visual presentation of report.
- Run and download reports.
- Open reports using a spreadsheet program.
Follow-Up:

Review Case Worker activities and contact in 2 weeks and 1 month to
address any further questions.
